We just posted an article about what specifically to bring to Monstro Camp, aside from camping gear.
What have you found that is an unusual – but vital – addition to your regular gear? (If it’s useful enough we’ll add it to the article!)
The oregon camp site is right near the river. While august isn’t usually a wet month it is high insect season. Bug spray, deet, or some form of citronella repellent is probably going to be a must.
The Western Washington camp a wagon or another form of transportation that can move on a gravel path was a huge win! It is a bit of a walk/small hike if you bring your own it helps since there is a limited number of wheelbarrows on site.
