Here’s a list of Resources that we use to make our adventures better. If there’s a resource you use and like, send us the tip!

Inspiration

Monster Rangers Pinterest – Here’s where we post images that inspire us – gear, old photos, monsters, recipes, and anything else that catches our eyes.

Finding a Camp

Bureau of Land Management – Public Lands for use. (And free camping.)

HipCamp – Probably our favorite search tool, it’s kind of like Yelp for camping. Folks share reviews of both public, and private, campgrounds.

Campendium – A website that seeks to help users search, review, preview over 21,000 campgrounds throughout the lower 48 states and Alaska.

KOA – While not as sexy as forest camping, sometimes you need to camp while you travel. KOA features a useful Trip Planner and some Camping Recipes.

FreeCampsites – A search tool to find free places to camp, and a trip planner.

ForestCamping.com – U.S. National Forest Camping Guide.

OutdoorProject.com – A camp and adventure guide.

Hiking

Hiking Project – A map hiking search tool and trail directory.[/vc_column_text]
