Planning on making something to share/trade at Monstro Camp Prime PHX? I was wondering if anyone with young children would like to make Monster Eggs with us? We are thinking of making them together on Friday and then allowing the kids to break into them to find their dragon or monster hatchling on Saturday. If you want to participate we will have a dozen plastic dragons to hide in the eggs but feel free to bring any type of LEGO or plastic figurine.

This sounds really cool, Jenni, and a great fit.
We could probably find/use some little plastic monster toys, like these:
I will say that Fridays are a tough day to do much programing wise; folks are rolling in, setting up their camps, and so on… but it’s doable if the project requires an over-night set. (So yeah, it can be done… it’ll just have less participants Friday.)
I’d LOVE to get this on the schedule for Monstro Prime! Let me know if/when you’re 100% with your schedule.November 13, 2017 at 2:31 pm #33111
Awesome! I am going to do a test run with the boys this week and see if it is something a 4.5 year old can do with instruction only or if we should ask parents to participate with their kiddos. I will also time the set-time. We do live in an arid place so it may be quicker. I will touch base later this week with a thumbs up or down for official-ness. CAW!December 27, 2017 at 2:44 am #33947

This is a really cute idea! I think the activity part would be popular. I do suggest to keep an eye out for when they are asking for programming suggestions so it can get on the schedule.March 30, 2018 at 11:57 pm #36218

What a wonderful idea – my kids would have loved something like this. Sad we live so far away.
Love the creativity – thank you for the fun idea! CAW
