I live in a state rife with national parks. Dad used to take me hiking all the time, tell me about the monsters seen in the area, and tell me about their known habitats and eating habits.
I made all the kids at my 6th birthday party watch the Patterson-Gimlin film, and then scour the neighborhood for signs of the Sasquatch.
Very few kids came to my 7th birthday party.
I have loved monsters and weird folklore my entire life, and am SO excited to join a scouting group whose focus is finally in the right area.
