I can admit now that I have an obsession with monsters and everything they stand for. Be they large and furry or tiny and tricky they hold a special place in my heart. Why? Well, lots of reasons…the world is a mess and although I do not need to rule it, I do need methods of coping and thriving. Monsters, fantasy, sci-fi, stories keep my energies where they can do some good, make some cool shit, and hopefully model what it looks like to fail and iterate with grace. I am grateful to be in Seattle where now again I actually meet folks who understand. After this year’s ECCC, I am convinced that there may be a place for me in your wonderful Monster Ranger Community.
