The Lanterna Badge isn’t just a fancy camp lantern, but rather a symbol of a fire haunt who guided Baron Davis through a dark forest of doubt.

This badge was a featured reward for our 2017 Monster Scouts Membership Drive Kickstarter.

Fact

Lanterns are often really hot. Don’t touch them. They are filled with a caustic, fiery substance called “Kerosene” which should be avoided no matter what. They’re basically fire bombs. Use LED lights… I’m just telling you this, Monster Ranger to Ranger.

The Lanterna Badge is worth 10 Glory points.

Symbology

The Lantern symbolizes leadership, guidance, inspiration, and an angry bomb filled with a horrible liquid that is nothing like Dr. Pepper.

This is a common badge. You can order one here!

Personal Ranger Challenge

To fully earn the Lanterna Spirit Badge the Ranger must:

  • Do a good deed, for another Monster Ranger
  • Think good thoughts (Or at least try to)
  • Be the best version of yourself, that you can
  • Drink a quart of freshly squeezed orange juice. (Unless this would cause you some personal injury or discomfort. If so, choose another more suitable juice product.)

You don’t turn this in for credit; you simply log it into your personal Rangers Sketchbook – Ranger’s Honor!
